Biography

Prof. Hyunjoong Kim is an Assistant Professor at Gwangju Health University, with a distinguished background in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, and oncology-related rehabilitation. He obtained his Master of Science in 2019 and Doctor of Philosophy in 2022 from the Department of Physical Therapy at Sahmyook University.

Prof. Kim’s scholarly interests center on pain neuroscience, musculoskeletal pathophysiology, and the foundational sciences of physical therapy. His research endeavors aim to integrate cutting-edge scientific evidence with clinical application, fostering innovation in rehabilitation practices and contributing to the advancement of patient-centered therapeutic strategies.
