About NMS Lab

Welcome to the Novel Medical Science Laboratory (NMS Lab), a cutting-edge research facility dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of human health through innovative scientific approaches. Our laboratory specializes in three core areas of medical and rehabilitation sciences, combining rigorous research methodologies with practical clinical applications.

Our research focuses on Pain Neuroscience, where we investigate the complex mechanisms underlying pain perception and processing in the nervous system. We aim to develop evidence-based interventions for pain management through advanced neuroscientific approaches, contributing to improved quality of life for individuals experiencing chronic and acute pain conditions.

In Movement Sciences, our division focuses on the biomechanical and physiological aspects of human movement. We analyze movement patterns, motor control, and functional performance to develop innovative rehabilitation strategies and enhance physical function across diverse populations.

Recognizing the growing need for specialized care in our aging society, our Geriatric Rehabilitation research addresses age-related physical decline, mobility issues, and the development of targeted interventions to promote healthy aging and independence.

At NMS Lab, we are committed to bridging the gap between scientific discovery and clinical practice. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based research, we strive to advance scientific knowledge, develop innovative therapeutic interventions, train the next generation of researchers and clinicians, and contribute to improving healthcare outcomes and quality of life for patients.

Our laboratory employs state-of-the-art research methodologies and maintains partnerships with leading academic institutions and healthcare organizations, conducting high-quality research that meets international standards and contributes meaningfully to the global scientific community.
